Hexagonal gabion ,high quality low carbon steel wire, galvanized wire and PVC coated wire,is a cages, cylinders, or boxes filled with soil or sand that are used in civil engineering, road building, and military application. Gabions are wire fabric container uniformly partitioned, of variable size, interconnected with other similar containers and filled with stone at the site of use, to form flexible, permeable, monolithic structures such as retaining walls, sea walls, channel linings, revetments and weirs for earth retention. For hexagonal gabion mesh with no pvc coating, the wire diameter ranges from 2.0mm to 4.0mm. For those PVC coated hexagonal gabion mesh, the outside diameter ranges from 3.0mm to 4.0mm. The wire of the outside frame edge is one wire gauge thicker than the wire used for hexagonal gabion mesh. .
Surface treatment:
- Heavily zinc galvanised wire
- As above plus heavy duty PVC coating
- Galmac (galfan) coated with a 95%Zinc + 5% Aluminium Mischmetal Alloy
- As above plusheavy duty PVC coating
Features of Hexagonal gabion
Flexibility, extra durable ,Monolithic and flexible structures ,tolerates differential settlement ,economical retaining systems ,Permeability of the front face
No collapse even under big scope of deforming. Weather proof under natural destroy, corrosion resistant.
